Notice: Temporary Suspension of Online Contact Lens Sales

Considering recent regulatory guidance from the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), The Contact Lens Shop is temporarily suspending online sales of contact lenses with immediate effect.

South African law requires that contact lenses be dispensed in person by a registered optometrist, with appropriate clinical oversight. New contact lens orders can no longer be shipped or delivered to your address.

What this means for you:

Contact lenses: Online ordering is unavailable. To purchase new lenses, please contact your optometrist directly to arrange collection in person.

Contact lens solutions and accessories: These remain fully available for online purchase and delivery and are unaffected by this change.

All other products: Continue to be available online as usual.

Orders already placed: All orders received prior to this notice will still be honoured and delivered as normal.
